It is our goal to cultivate only top quality
Clivias for the likes of the connoisseur.

Background
Ernie Hobbs is one of the master judges of the Northern Clivia Club and is
invited to judge at many of the clivia shows. Over the years Ernie has built
up a fine collection of top quality clivias,
several of which have won major awards at shows.

He is very meticulous when it comes to pollinating his clivias,
using only the very best parent plants onto which the best compatible
pollen is put. The plants are all pollinated by hand.

Over the years Ernie has developed a very good eye for quality clivias
with show winning characteristics. He is ruthless in his collection, eliminating
every plant that does not meet his standard of perfection, and only keeping
the very best to breed from.

I have no hesitation in strongly recommending the seed he has on offer.
Due to limited space he can only plant a small percentage for himself and is
forced to sell the larger proportion. Excellent results can be expected,
with the potential of top show winners.

We have started our collection during the mid 1990 with seed
and plants obtained from well known growers like Herman van Rensburg,
Dr. Bing Wiese, Wessel Lotter, Mrs. Arthri Wessels and others.

We were also very fortunate to obtain pollen from the
very best lines of Tino Ferero.

Our collection, built up over the past 14 years, offers you now the oppertunity
to buy some seed from our beautiful and best oranges, reds,
pinks, green throughts and varigateds.
